The Junior Olympics has been a part of Lower Merion School District's Elementary Physical Education program for more than 60 years. Each spring, the fifth-grade students participate in a track & field unit and, upon completion of that unit, take part in a fun-filled and competitive culminating event as students from all six elementary schools gather at the Harriton High School stadium for a morning of track and field events, including the Tug of War, High Jump, Long Jump, 60 Yard Dash, the 4 x 100 Relay and more.
Series continues with "The Whole Athlete: Specialization, Nutrition, Injuries and More"on Tuesday, February 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Lower Merion High School
